New Arrival!

Greetings!

As most of you know, our son Jackson Kai Shoemaker was born at home on Tuesday, Sept. 8th at 4:58pm weighing 8lbs, 8oz. 21 hours of labor and no drugs for either one of us!

I tweeted and facebooked (not when my wife, Mika, was looking) during the process so if you're not a Facebook friend or a Twitter follower, now is the time to do that so that we can stay in closer contact.

Now that Jackson is occupying all of my wife's time and body parts, I'm hitting the road again, but not before doing a few local dates at The Comedy Magic Club in Hermosa and the brand new Jon Lovitz Comedy Club at Universal City Walk.

Consider the tour dates my personal response to the health care issue. Surely you know that laughter is the best medicine and for a very small co-pay (i.e. cover charge) you can have a heavy dose of laughter and keep yourself well. Check out the calendar dates and see if I'm coming to your neighborhood. Invite your whole cul-de-sac to come with you!

Speaking of yuks... TheLaughterStore.com is growing! We launched a patented video player on the site with clips of many of your favorite comedians. On the site with a clear HD picture and no buffering, we will eventually have a Laughter Channel with original content. Please let us know if you're interested in The Laughter Store sending you a "Laugh of the Day," which is a short one-minute video sent to your inbox. The Laughter Store has over 1,000 gifts and goodies so we hope you visit to get your humor supplies: gag gifts, DVDs, CDs, books – TheLaughterStore.com has it all!

The Laughter Store and pretty much most retailers are carrying a very hot title that I happened to have produced and starred in called, "Totally Baked." Baked is an award-winning feature film that is one of the top independent features of all time on Hulu.com and Netflix. My old friend, Brian Johnson, the front man of AC/DC did 3 original songs for the movie and signed on as executive producer. If you haven't seen it, please go to your favorite retailer and get it. If you buy it through TheLaughterStore.com, I will sign a copy if you request.

One note, this is not a "cooking" film with Bobby Flay. It's a bawdy, silly, and politically charged comedy about marijuana. And it's rated "R," which I'm pretty sure is a non issue if you're on MY mailing list!

Hope to see you soon.

Laugh on! shoe
